Summary of Requirements

Grantees are required to submit a share-back about the impact of the grant and the use of funds by July 31, 2024. Share-backs must be submitted to and approved by CCI before the award balance is released. The deliverables from your grant award letter are summarized below, but please refer to your award letter for the full description of your reporting requirements.

Must Include:

  • DescDescribe the activities that took place over the grant period and the impact that the grant had on you (if an individual recipient) or your organization/business, and your communities. Include specific details where applicable, such as event dates, number of community members served, and partnerships/collaborations formed, to name a few examples. You can draft your own report or utilize the share back template provided in the toolkit. This is YOUR story - be as creative or simple as you want, tell it how you want it to be told!   • Provide an itemized list of expenses with any explanatory notes, where needed. How were the grant funds spent? What was purchased, spent, or paid? Be sure to include any service fees, printing, shipping, material, or any other costs or expenses you incurred to complete this project. You can draft your own budget narrative or utilize the budget template provided in the toolkit.

  • DesShare at least one media sample related to your activities during the grant period; for example, documentation of your funded project - videos, images, a news article describing your business, an event invitation or press release announcing your program. For artists who have been in Vallejo for 5 years or more and were looking to expand their artistic opportunities on a next level project. Arts Cultural Space Grants / Espacio Cultural de las Artes

This grant supports arts cultural spaces centering Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) artists, cultural bearers, their communities, and greater Vallejo. This award is an unrestricted grant specifically for arts cultural spaces. This part of the Vallejo Arts Fund is specifically interested in making a direct impact on the lives of artists and cultural bearers by investing in new and existing arts cultural spaces. (Fund size: $120,000) | Esta subvención apoya espacios artísticos culturales para artistas, portadores culturales Negros, Indígenas y de personas de Color (BIPOC), sus comunidades y el resto de Vallejo. Este premio es una subvención sin restricciones específicamente para espacios culturales artísticos. Esta parte del Vallejo Arts Fund está específicamente interesada en generar un impacto directo en las vidas de artistas y portadores culturales mediante la inversión en espacios culturales artísticos nuevos y existentes. BIPOC-Centered Arts & Cultural Practices Grants / Practica Artistica y Cultural Centradas en las comunidades de BIPOC (Comunidades Negras, Indígenas, y de Color)

This funding prioritizes artists, collectives, and organizations engaged in making, producing, teaching, and engaging in BIPOC-Centered arts and cultural practices for at least 3 years. The fund is interested in traditional folk arts and practices as well as contemporary expressions of work by, for or about Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) communities. (Fund size: $100,000) | Esta prioridad de financiación ayuda a artistas, colectivos y organizaciones que participan en la creación, producción, enseñanza y participación en prácticas artísticas y culturales centradas en BIPOC durante al menos 3 años. This is a grant to support professional artists working with BIPOC youth for classes, workshops, and arts/cultural spaces — for them to gather and express themselves — for at least 3 years.
